England have taken the last 4 Australian wickets in 85 minutes this morning and Australia are 385 all out. Temperature piping hot, 43.2 degrees. England have 25 minutes to bat before lunch.

With lunch taken and 24 - 0 cook on 17 the omens look good but the6y must be regretting for not getting them out for lower It's important that they now be focused and concentrated. Let's hope that not losing a wicket before lunch is a sign of better luck to come. What's the current run rate guys?

Please please no collapse. Just need to play the right shot to the right ball bladewave.

Root caught behind for 4. Decision reviewed but was inconclusive (despite no mark on hot spot) so Umpires call stands. 91-2.

England seem to have resolved the problem of losing wickets in clusters of 4,5 & 6 & are now only losing them two at a time,so some improvement.

If there's no hotspot mark on his bat, that pretty conclusive to me that he didn't hit it. I thought that the review system was to remove umpiring cockups
What did snicko show?

And Kevin, oh Kevin. He spends 50 getting himself set for about 10 runs. I'm thinking that he's finally put his sensible head on and that he's playing for the team. When he decided to try and hit one over the top of mid on. Oh Kevin... no

No hot spot on his bat showed. Snicko did show something and you could hear a sound on the real time replay. It was felt the umpire's original decision could not be overturned.

To me the technology works well for LBWs, run outs and stumpings but not quite so good for catches.

Yes KP's shot selection did leave a little to be desired after he did so well.
