If the thread is open and active and popular there is no reason why it shouldn't be left as it is, open. I noticed there are models that change studios and have several different sections open in various channel forums, I found that even more confusing.
There should be a alphabeticalized models forum and every model should have their own section were all their threads are collected together. This would avoid having to chase around channel forums for models that flit from one studio to another and avoid opening up a new section for the same model in several different places.
The studio and channels forums should have just links to the individual models Forum. That way fans of a particular model could be redirected to their favourate model where they can view all the activity of that model. The channel forums be left for general topics about the given channel.
