Quatermass and the Pit - Horror channel. Now.

Best of the 1950s/1960s big screen adaptations of the BBC TV "Quatermass" serials.

Work on the London Underground unearths first prehistoric skeletons and then an object which appears to be an extra-terrestrial craft - or is it a faked up German propaganda weapon from WWII as the army claims ?

Hasn't dated too badly at all, good creepy atmosphere in places and interesting core ideas.
Some of the special effects wee bit ropey but some still pretty good.

Some of the core ideas and even basic structure of this are a fairly obvious influence on the 1970s Pertwee Dr Who show "The Daemons".
