Nearly a year ago I started watching House and in that time I've manged to catch up to the seventh season - watching so many episodes of a single TV show is something I've not done before. The latter seasons certainly haven't been as good as some of the earlier ones (naturally so I guess) - questionable casting since season 4 and some recent soft storylines haven't helped it. Although I dislike the idea of having to have an out and out single favourite TV Show (or single favourite of anything), its possible that House is just that - although its status in this position is certainly helped by the fact that unlike most of the shows I like (Deadwood, Life, Firefly) it wasn't cancelled after two or three seasons.

My favourite series have to be 24, Lost, Band of Brothers, Spooks, the original Mission Impossible with Peter Graves & The Champions with the gorgeous Alexandra Bastedo.

The obvious choice would be 24. I thought the 1st series of Spartacus was great and by the looks of the 1st episode of the 2nd series it will be just as good. Glad to see John Hannah back at his evil bastard best.

My favorite series has to be Life On Mars later succeeded by Ashes to Ashes. Fantastic scripts, acting and one of the very few things that the BBC actually makes it worthwhile paying for a TV Licence.

Life on Mars, one of the best TV series of the last 10 years, also liked the first three episodes of Sherlock and looking forward to it,s return later in the year.
