This thread is starting to make me laugh, most of you all claim to hate ofcom but you now want them to investigate and take action against every other channel, Where's your logic in that?

Sorry to diagree gazfc, but I don't think the lady concerned was mimicking. The scene I quoted was filmed in close up and I was paying particular attention.
The programme guide stated that this was for adults only and included strong language and graphic sexual scenes. They were right.
By the way, I don't want OFCOM to investigate and take action against every other channel, only to show some consistency. Surely not a lot to ask?

What so you think two actors was performing a sex act on each other? Guess they was doing their jobs then

The actor in that film (Mark Ruffalo) was asked once if he actually did get a blow job for that scene..He said that a Prosthetic was used (A realistic looking penis) after all he was and still is a married man.

However if you are going to make the point about real sex in mainstream films or tv, maybe you should discuss this "artistic" film where they did actually shag and masturbate and ejaculate etc etc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9_Songs

But when Ofcom do get involved, they say even simulated oral sex is not acceptable, where a lone woman grasps air, let alone a scene that could be taken for real.

Heres what Ofcom said in the Sanctions decision against Bangbabes on 29 July: "In summary, the material found in breach related to unsuitable adult material, shown for the sole purpose of sexual stimulation. Some footage contained inappropriate explicit sexual imagery including intrusive images of, simulated masturbation and oral sex, genital and anal detail. In some cases, the material was considered to be of such strength that it was only suitable for transmission with mandatory restrictions (e.g. under PIN encryption)."

Hi Ofcom!

Just thought I'd mention that I watched a woman penetrate a man's anus with a strap-on tonight on sexcetera on channel 112.

I guess that's OK, but NOT a normal female body part on an adult channel?

Shy

No, because real sex never happens in mainstream cinema, does it? bladewave

As has already been said, we don't want Ofcom treating all tv the way they treat the Babeshows, we just want consistency.

So what 'mainstream' films have had real intercorse etc? You know the proven stuff that's been confirmed and not some hear say crap that's been made up to plug a film and not something you've Imagined either.

Why not try Google? Off the top of my head and in no particular order:
Realm of the Senses
Caligula
Intimacy
Baise Moi
The Idiots
Brown Bunny
Shortbus
Taxidermy (?)
and of course, aforementioned 9 Songs
Antichrist.
There are a number more but I'm no expert.

The key word your missing is 'mainstream', Those are indie/arthouse, we already know it happens on occasion in arthouse/indie films (most of them will never appear on Tv, unless heavily edited so ofcom would never even have to deal with them)

RE: Ofcom Discussion - mrmann - 10-12-2010 23:24

We got a man (Born a woman, wants a penis) on Sexcetera spreading his vagina and wearing a fake penis, yet, still no full frontal on the adult channels Rolleyes

On Sexarama right now, discussions about SCAT, animal fetishes, and how people clean their penises after coming out of a lake, yet, still no full frontal on the adult channels Rolleyes

Spartacus Blood And Sand, Identity, Deuce Bigelow all OK and on the early channels. So graphic violence and how to prostitute yourself is OK, but not a nude female? Rolleyes

Heroin: Facing The Dragon, Sex: How To Do Everything all soon to be on. That's OK????

Now a man is having his penis shocked by a device to give him pleasure, as well as women sucking on strapons. A woman now is having her vagina (Open leg) electro stimulated. Now back to the man's penis again, in full closeups.

Nude women getting fake blood and intestines put on them for a horror movie on Eurotrash.

Context right? I think some complaints are in order.
