lol, shows how much i hate him, all reason goes out of the window where he's concerned - i think the next england player near him that day should have gone in two footed knee high and accepted the sending off - to be honest I was surprised no one did.

What I never understood about the Maradona handball is that he always claims it was the 'Hand of God'! and no one from any church batted an eyelid or 'disowned' him for blaming his cheating on The Almighty!! Thank God I'm an athiest!!

terry butcher had a good go, but cos he was shit, didnt get near him. And that was the reason he scored that wonder goal, because everyone was trying to hurt him and not to get the ball.

i remember that....funny thing was Terry Fenwick and Peter Reid were just jogging alongside Maradona whilst he was dancing round the rest of the team on the wing and when he eventually got into the penalty area Peter Shilton came off his line and sat down allowing the fuckin midget to run round him and slot the ball home!......Bastards !!!!!

The solution to Newcastle's problems lies several years in the past. They should never have gotten rid of Sir Bobby. The man had a magnificent eye for a player and a brilliant way at drawing the best out of people, so he was able to keep Newcastle near the top of the table without spending obscene amounts of money. To get Newcastle out of trouble now will take several seasons and tens of millions of pounds that Ashley won't invest. Even if they stay up this season -not a nailed on certainty- then they're facing several seasons in the dogfight.
