That's an interesting take on the immigration problem. British citizens shouldn't be allowed to leave the UK? http://news.sky.com/story/expats-returning-for-care-after-brexit-could-cost-nhs-1631bn-a-year-report-warns-10899091 RE: General Election called for June 8th - cwpussylover - 02-06-2017 23:32 (02-06-2017 23:28 )The Silent Majority Wrote:(02-06-2017 22:55 )cwpussylover Wrote: fuck it we have had enough of being the good guys...all those nasty expats over in spain living in houses spanish could live in...taking spanish jobs...good guys come last...we get bombed by cnuts who we give free housing to and benefits to study how to bomb us... It means two things, firstly, he will give the EU exactly what they demand up front with no garentee whatsoever that UK cittizen rights will be preserved. Whereas May wanted both to be done at the same time on both sides. Lets be realistic here, the rights of citizans will be preserved on both sides, it is the EU that are making an issue out of something that isn't one in the first place for no other reason than to be awkward about it. and two, there is no trade in the single marklet without freedom of movement, the EU have been pretty adamant about it. So his Brexit talks will merely be staying in the EU via the back door, which will be massively damaging to the UK. It is the first time I have seen him tonight and the bloke lives in lala dream land, the frightening thing about this, the idiot public are being carried on a wave of bizarre anti May propaganda. From what i herard of her tonight, people are simply not listening to her, like that nurse. RE: General Election called for June 8th - Charlemagne - 03-06-2017 06:33 There were a couple of major issues which came up in last nights debate. 1. Corbyn refusing to say that he would press the nuclear button if the UK was attacked. 2. May not known that we give aid to the citizens of North Korea Also I'm not happy with Corbyn saying that he would give all EU citizens the right to stop in the UK. Are we still going to allow all the criminals to remain? He needs to clarify who can and who can't stay. Are we still going to allow all the criminals to remain? We've got to find and catch them first As for "would you press the nuclear button?" - what kind of world do you think you're living in? There hasn't been a nuclear scare in over 30 years! The last time a significant button was pressed was over 70 years ago! It's supposed to be a nuclear button, not a panic button. RE: General Election called for June 8th - SOCATOA - 03-06-2017 07:04 BBC interviewer keeps ranting on, will Corbyn push the nuclear button. If he say's yes, can see the headlines in the media, "Corbyn can kill millions". Those nice CONservatives say "yes" we would press the nuclear button. Nice one, Britain just got incinerated. What happens when the bombs have reached their use by date? Well we have paid through the nose for them, might as well use the things. Strong and Stable, that's what we need RE: General Election called for June 8th - Charlemagne - 03-06-2017 08:58 ^I seem to remember that he was asked by a member of the studio audience if he would press the button to which he avoided the question. The presenter then re-asked the question, to which Corbyn just shrugged his shoulder and didn't answer. He's usually good at giving clear answers but not in this case. RE: General Election called for June 8th - HannahsPet - 03-06-2017 09:11 because he cant say NO and he cant say YES he says yes then all his credibilty as a pacifist has gone and be accused of changing his mind to get into power. he says no then he is unfit to lead the country. the interview with andrew neil the question about the isis leader in sight of a drone and he has 20 mins to act and he was waffling about all sorts of conditions RE: General Election called for June 8th - SOCATOA - 03-06-2017 09:14 (03-06-2017 08:58 )Charlemagne Wrote: ^I seem to remember that he was asked by a member of the studio audience if he would press the button to which he avoided the question. Well if any of them do press the button, it will only ever happen once RE: General Election called for June 8th - HannahsPet - 03-06-2017 09:20 the damm things prob wont fucking work anyway because havent been tested in decades. ment the nuclear bit we tested a missile and it went the wrong way when launched think we only have them because the french have them |
