After watching the Return Of The Jedi 40th Anniversary, I suddenly knew why the Picard season 3 finale felt so familiar. Father (Picard/Vader) and son (Jack/Luke) love overcoming the big bad (Borg Queen/Emperor) in the Borg Cube/Death Star, whilst the Enterprise-D/Falcon blew it up from the inside and ecscaped the cascade explosion.
