He probably would make San Marino look good!! But I think their record overall is only bettered by Germany - or even ours or Spain's. I do fear our clean sheet record comes to an end tonight. But I think we would have to go some to batter Denmark I think we would be that more tired than Italy, they have the extra day to recover than us if we don't go to penalties then i 'd out recovery is going to be about the same. It's astonishing now to realise how many games Germany won under Low - 124. For Southgate to break that stat, that would likely take him well beyond Qatar and the next Nations League and Euros and next World Cup to even reach that or get close. I don't think we will have a better chance than now to win a major tournament and I would be stunned if Southgate changed his mind and stepped down if England ddin't win tonight. It would take England a fair time to find a coach of Lows quality and experience. Incidentally how many different nations (discounting multiple games wirth each team) have England played as a whole? I reckon it must be up to at least 70-75? RE: UEFA European Championship 2021 - lovebabes56 - 07-07-2021 08:48 no matter who supports who, or whatever the result, I just want to see a good clean game tonight, regardless. One that both sets of fans can enjoy & make it a great occasion, and England fans to behave before, during, and after the match. RE: UEFA European Championship 2021 - Charlemagne - 07-07-2021 09:25 Why are we singing 'Coming Home'. We haven't won the thing before. I think 89 is probably the best answer, but only if you regard Germany as a different country to West Germany. RE: UEFA European Championship 2021 - aaron - 07-07-2021 12:16 England have kept 5 clean sheets in this tournament so far. No country has ever kept 6 clean sheets in a tournament. In June 2019 Bosnia took the lead in a Euros qualifier, but Italy were only behind for 20 mins and won the match 2-1. Yeah that's the one thanks 7 stars. |
