Trouble is, I am fearing Johnson has been busy and deleted anything on Whatsapp that is implicating him but keeping stuff to implicate Sunak. RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - HannahsPet - 05-06-2023 07:32 looking likely tbh both with sizeable majoritys of 20k + RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - lovebabes56 - 05-06-2023 11:46 Maybe it is time to replace the black door in No.10 with a black revolving door, lol Not that it would do Larry the cat much good I guess. Beats me why no-one has ever bothered to put a cat flap in fior him. RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - Charlemagne - 08-06-2023 06:47 Rishi Sunak reportedly set to accept Boris Johnson’s honours list, but it will probably mean that there are two by-elections RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - HannahsPet - 08-06-2023 06:50 hang on i thought they went through a committee not Rishi RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - southsidestu - 08-06-2023 19:53 Two of the peerages are for Sharma & Dorries, both sitting MPs who would stand down to take their seat in The Lords. Sharma has a majority of 4k & Dorries is 24.6k Its realistic that Labour could take Sharma's seat in a by-election. The last time Dorries seat did not elect a Tory was in 1920 so there is little chance, however much some of us might wish it, that Labour would take it off them but in 97 & 01 Labour got 32% & 31% so something close to that would allow them to create the narrative they are on course for a big win RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - southsidestu - 09-06-2023 10:29 The Time now reporting that Dorries & Sharma's peerages will not be on the honours list in order to avoid by-elections RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - Charlemagne - 09-06-2023 13:00 And Stanley Johnson has also been dropped from Boris Johnson’s resignation honours list. RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - Rammyrascal - 09-06-2023 16:42 Mad Nad has stood down as an MP with immediate effect!!!!! RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government - Charlemagne - 09-06-2023 17:03 It looks like Nadine's not taken it well So there will be a bi-election in her very safe Mid Bedfordshire seat. It would be a good safe seat for Boris. Nadine will probably end up on GB News |
