Now 4 people close to Sunak caught up in the illegal betting scandal. The latest are the Director of Campaigning for the Tories who has taken a leave of abscence and his wife who is a candidate in Bristol. None of the Tories have yet been suspended from the party but the Close Protection Officer has been suspended and arrested by the Met Police.

"Help!" would probably be a good start.

When your Director of Campaigning has to take leave of absence just before an election is very telling. He and his wife haven't yet been suspended by the Tories.

Soundbite of the day is from Nigel Farage, "They are literally stealing the lightbumbs on their way out".

^ So this year's equivalent of Liam Byrne's infamous note will read "I'm sorry, we've taken all the lightbulbs" but it'll be dark so nobody will be able to read it Big Laugh
