I think you're both right tbh. It is acting, but when something is described as ''erotic death fetish'' it's a fetish film, so it can be classed as soft porn too.
It's just one of those things, nothing wrong with it though, although I'm not sure I want to see her getting strangled...not my cup o' tea.
