Rory McIlroy faded somewhat with a one over round of 73. Matt Fitzpatrick carded a solid round of 69 to reach -9 and be five shots off the lead.

Shauffele leads after round on -17 with Clark on 16, & Harman on -15. Matt Fitzpatrick is 4 behind on -13 & will need a fast start to have any chance.

Scottie Scheffler became the 1st player to retain the title at Sawgrass, with a one shot victory over Shauffele, Harman & Clark who had a chance to take it into a playoff only for his putt to lip out on the 18th.
Scheffler who had been battling a neck injury, posted the winning score with birdies on 16,17 & 18, a stretch of holes that are very challenging & demanding.

Irishman Seamus Power is in contention at the Valspar Championship just two shots off the lead at -8 going into the final round.

Scottie Scheffler is the 3rd round leader in the RBC Heritage Classic on -16, Sepp Straka is a shot back,
with Morikawa 2 behind. Ludvig Aberg is tied for 4th on -13.

Play was suspended on Sunday, with 18 players to complete their rounds on Monday. Wyndham Clark is the clubhouse leader on -15, with Cantlay, Poston & Theegala with holes to complete on the same score.
Scheffler is 5 clear with 3 holes to play, he could become the first player to win at Harbour Town following a Masters win since Langer in 1985.

Rory McIlroy has stormed to victory in the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow.
He shot a superb final round of 65 to finish on -17 and blast to victory by 5 shots over Xander Schauffle.
Perfect preparation for the US PGA Championship starting on Thursday at Valhalla. McIlroy is a former PGA champion.

Sad news tonight.
Two time winner on the PGA tour Grayson Murray has passed away suddenly at the age of just 30. Seems to have hit a lot of people on the tour really hard. Sincerest condolences to family and friends. Taken too young
