I've whinged mightily about the content in the past and there are still things I'm unhappy about but the standard (at least on Freeview) has improved immensely over recent weeks.

sorry i know they have been crap for a long time and i havnt really been watching much the last few weeks, i have just caught brief glimpes the last few night and i still think its been poor, but after reading posts on the forum (after i posted this thread) about the producers with the slips i feel things could get tame everywhere

So how come BS1 (Ch 94, the lowest babe channel number) is crap but BB (Ch 98, the highest) is superb?

this thread has been made already and there is no need for it at the moment cos camilla and reede have put on some top notch shows recently

babestation as gone down hill since Tara left and Morgan went to the day shows Yvette is the only one worth watching

The epg channel number bears no relationship to the frequency.
e.g. In Granada area, ch1 (BBC1) and ch80 (BBC News) are both on 802MHz. They are multiplexed. Ch3 (ITV1) is on 778MHz, the same as ch5 Five.
The bandwidth is 8Mhz for all channels.
Channel 98 Bangbabes is a better picture because it is from a different company than Channel 94 Cellcast and presumably they are using better cameras etc.

im sure its something to do with the equipment they are using to convert the signal at cellcasts end

if you can. best spring for a sky freeview package. the picture quality barley drops off unless your watching 1 of the asian or brazilian channels. i know its not always feasable but hey if you can why not.
Proberly find that those channels are using the american NTSC system as seems only a few countrys use PAL encoding thats proberly BS problem they are using NTSC on the computers to encode the signal. where as BB Elite are using PAL
Noticed this as most BS channels pic quality look like most american channel broadcast on tv like fox news

all i can say is look at the order the channels are scanned into the box. the channel number bares no relation to that mine starts from 48 up to 65 with bbc first and most of the radio channels last. smile tv and bsare pretty high on the list 58-65 this is what i ment by the epg.

The pictures on the TS channels look pretty soft, which suggests the possibility of a 'less than full resolution' broadcast. TS seems worse than TS2 & PL, though none are particularly good, IMO.
