If there is one solution to stop back handers and vote rigging for the right to stage the FIFA World Cup - let the beaten finalists stage the next competition!!

RE: FIFA - Charlemagne - 29-10-2015 09:42

^ Wouldn't they delibrately lose the final Huh

They'd be scoring in their own goals Big Grin

RE: FIFA - terence - 29-10-2015 09:49

i know, surely you would give it to the winner, or if the host wins the runner up. Rolleyes

RE: FIFA - Charlemagne - 29-10-2015 11:34

^ But this would mean that more than 80% of the world would never host the competition. No finals in Asia, Australasia, Africa, North America.
And we'd never get the another competition back in EnglandWink

It would be alternative World Cups in Brazil, Argentina, Spain & Germany

The German police & tax inspectors have raided the homes of the German Football Federation president Wolfgang Niersbach and former president Theo Zwanziger.

Investigations are focused on tax evasion linked to the awarding of the German held World Cup in 2006 and the transfer of 6.7 million euros of the organising committee for the German Football Association (DFB) to the Fifa football association.
