The Sky Tour de France team have got a sweep stake for the last 8 of the World Cup. Egan Bernal who is Columbian has got England Big Grin

Maradona is reported to have apologised for his 'Colombia were cheated' outburst, but I'm still going to post this picture anyway.

Not much chance of getting away with that these days, since it would have been a great one for VAR.

Well he kind of is, being born in Glasgow.

Anyway, I'm thinking of not supporting him much longer because he gets too much media coverage Big Laugh

Andy Murray isn't Scottish though, he's British. So you should support him regardless. Because he represents Britain in the Davis Cup, not Scotland.

Anyway, aside from that, I'm personally backing England and will cheer them on against Sweden, and that's despite all the furniture I've bought from IKEA and despite the soft spot I have for ABBA music.

That's true patriotism that 's!!

You forgot the apostrophe? It's coming home = 14 letters...?

Plus, what happens if all the teams with 6 letters win? (losers = 6 letters) Huh

After Maradona's behaviour and after seeing the Germans mocking Sweden after beating them, it's good to see someone at the World Cup behaving with decency. Gareth Southgate, what a good guy, pictured here at the end of the penalty shoot-out with Colombia.

France are in the semi-finals after beating Uruguay 2-0. What we need now is a good performance from Belgium against Brazil tonight, in which case that match could be a very interesting one.
