RE: Babestation Tipping & Tip Goals - ryuken - 01-03-2021 23:15 It looks like a punter that was Valentina's top tipper during her last show hasn't got the video she promised to send. So Valentina told him in her chatbox to contact customer service lol. Thats not good, so she agreed something didn't follow through on it and now its Customer services problem. Assuming his complaints worded right he might get his credits back so she looses out, but guessing that will depend on who in CS deals with the contact. Get the feeling he won't be back. Whereas you get the likes of Jess as an example who do similar and follow through with it and make sure it gets sent. RE: Babestation Tipping & Tip Goals - The Silent Majority - 19-03-2021 07:24 So, I had enough credits for a few buzzes, which I used up on Jess and Atlanta's last show. However, they took credits for one more buzz than I actually did. Now, apart from the fact that I can count, I know this because it took the tally on my account to minus 50 credits After some to and fro with customer services, I finally got the 'debt' cancelled Makes you wonder how often this happens. If I'd had credits left at the time I'd never have been able to convince them it was a false buzz. Some of those guys spending big money wouldn't even notice if it was happening. Like you say wonder how many more its happened to, wonder how many people have also had an auto-topup triggered as a result and spent more than they intended to also as a result, its all to easy to buzz more than you intended to when its fun. Think BS need to review their web systems, what happened to you shouldn't be able to happen even when under load.. makes me think theres a transaction verification / replay bug in there somewhere which surfaces when the systems under load maybe. RE: Babestation Tipping & Tip Goals - ShandyHand - 19-03-2021 10:31 ^ I had a false buzz while messaging a babe on 66 a few weeks back. I put it down to my laptop's trackpad being over sensitive. But both my cursor and mind were definitely no where near buzzing at that moment, although I had been doing so just a short time before. Now you say this I suspect the tech is sending a previous click through a second time on (perhaps quite specifically rare) occasions. 66 and BS use the same Firestorm web tech of course. The chances of this bug (if that's what it is) being found and fixed intentionally is likely incredibly small I'd suggest. The flakey Firestorm tech, we have to stumble through fingers crossed each time, has the feel of something over-bloated trying to pull off tricks beyond its means. Bits bolted on to do new things as they went along without proper consideration to the whole. It needs starting over but wont be. Yes the tech does seem to have evolved over time but unfortunately the rubber band ball can only take so much before something snaps.. These types of issue are really hard to find especially if they occur under only specific situations... The other problem with the older tech is It can scale but you have to be really careful, scale the web and not the database for instance can make it worse, scale the database without testing your code under the newer load situations basically would mean your throwing money at nothing. Time will tell what will happen as more moves online.. I can't help but think though unless the tech used keeps up with some of the other platforms I can see everyone only using the ones that work without falling over etc. RE: Babestation Tipping & Tip Goals - winsaw - 22-03-2021 15:16 girls really should not be posting stuff like this, its a sure fire way to make them look bad and make less people want to tip them , RE: Babestation Tipping & Tip Goals - BlastedKeith - 22-03-2021 16:54 It’s such a daft attitude. Imagine if a street busker stopped, mid-song, singled out a spectator and shouted in his face “YOU! Are you gonna tip me? If you’re not, then stop fucking watching and FUCK OFF!” RE: Babestation Tipping & Tip Goals - scooby_doo - 22-03-2021 16:57 (22-03-2021 15:16 )winsaw Wrote: Not good @winsaw I’ve noticed though the girls who continually go on about freeloaders also seem to be the ones who don’t concentrate on entertaining those in the room who are tipping & so are less likely to come back. Also those who aren’t getting tips probably because they aren’t doing anything either. Maybe they could learn from the likes of Atlanta who just gets on with having fun & interacting and as a result gets loads of tips. RE: Babestation Tipping & Tip Goals - ShandyHand - 22-03-2021 21:45 ^ She may well have just been having a bad day of course, we all have them. We try not to speak out ill-advisedly but sometimes we do. That's the generous interpretation to such incidents... But we must acknowledge it feels like we're seeing a lot more of these type incidents of late (particularly from babes at BS I might add). Why is that? Why now? Could it be a result of the pressures of the modernisation process the show's are undergoing atm? One thing, I always say to myself at such events: Who is more likely to get aggressive at some irritant on her page, a babe who is happy and content, succeeding in her work, successful and stress free with plenty of revenue flowing in her direction..? Or one that feels the need to find scapegoat figures because things are not going her way? For some peoples in any walk of life, it's always the outsider's fault. In babeland the conjured up demon figure is an over expectant, tight fisted, entitled viewer haunting the chat box like a bad smell. Low on credit, low on tact, low on awareness and social skills; a handy cause of all ills that can be scorned and derided - apparently with complete impunity from consequence. The babe makes her down and dirty assessment, just as I am doing to them here. But law of averages says these same punters must be around every babe's stream. So why is it only some babes that feel the need to publicly point fingers in this way? Personality and anxiety maybe. |
