RE: Movie News & Reviews - *Kal-El* - 22-03-2016 23:59 All tho i grew up more DC with comics like Superman, Superboy, Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Nightwing and The Teen Titans I've always loved Marvel too so i don't want people thinking am some kind of fanboy I have all the marvel films except Ant-Man which I saw in the cinema as am not paying £15 for a single disc film with digital copy when it drops in price am getting that along with Deadpool. I have a lot of the films twice as normal Blu Rays and as collectors steel books. X-Men 1-3 have those as steel books and normal Blu Rays, Captain America 1 steel book and normal Blu Ray, First Class, Spiderman trilogy, X-Men Origins, Iron Man 3, Thor The Dark World, Avengers 1, Amazing Spiderman 1 and 2 all I have as steel book and normal blu ray, leaving avengers 2, iron man 1 and 2, guardians of the Galaxy, Winter soldier, days of future past, The Wolverine. I own seasons 1-5 of the X-Men fox cartoon, Spiderman the complete animated series from fox, Fanastic 4 seasons 1-2, Spiderman and his amazing friends, captain America, iron man and Thor complete seasons from the 70's and the complete 90's iron man series as well nearly all the aninated films and my fav marvel graphic novel is civil war, I loved Daredevil seasons 1 and 2 the kingpin one of best tv villains along with Jessica Jones and David Tennant another great villain so am no fanboy just lover of great comic books, films, shows and animated shows. RE: Movie News & Reviews - *Kal-El* - 23-03-2016 00:00 So for the long winded posts but I felt I needed to clear things up in people possibly thinking am biased. I don't have all the marvel films as steel books as they want now £25/£27 so unless they drop in price in a sale or I find them second hand then i pick them up. RE: Movie News & Reviews - *Kal-El* - 23-03-2016 04:00 My last rant with these so called experts is that there complaining about the dark tone of the film why are they carrying on like they didn't know everyone knew what the tone was gonna be like considering Man of Steel and the trailers and the direction of the DC universe. RE: Movie News & Reviews - *Kal-El* - 24-03-2016 12:08 There's a midnight showing where I live of Batman v Superman if am not too knackered I might go. RE: Movie News & Reviews - Rammyrascal - 24-03-2016 14:13 new picture released for the Wonder Woman solo movie I'm seeing Batman v Superman tomorrow morning at 10:30am RE: Movie News & Reviews - *Kal-El* - 24-03-2016 14:39 Geoff Johns has said he has big plans Booster Gold but no one knows if it's in either the DC tv universe or DC movie universe, in the comics his son is Rip Hunter. He did make appearance in Season 10 of Smallville, anyway watch this space. RE: Movie News & Reviews - *Kal-El* - 24-03-2016 17:26 If there's one thing I can't stand is fanboy trolls online if any news or anything is posted about a DC film the Marvel fanboy trolls come out of the wood and the same can be said about if anything Marvel comes out the DC fanboy trolls come out its the same thing in the video game market whether it's Somy, Nintendo or Microsoft fanboys come out and start on each other. These days I try avoid reading internet comments it seems like some of these trolls have a lot of time on there hands .People should just enjoy watching there films who ever that makes it or playing what ever system they may have. RE: Movie News & Reviews - *Kal-El* - 25-03-2016 01:11 The thick intelligence of some people, some dickhead on Facebook won't Batman v Superman because they can't take Ben Affleck serious how about actually watching it first before passing judgement it's the same people did to Heath Ledger when he was cast as The Joker and rest is history or when Michael Keaton got shit when hit cast as Batman because he was a comedic actor lol. RE: Movie News & Reviews - *Kal-El* - 25-03-2016 01:18 And after all that shit Heath Ledger won a Oscar for his role as The Joker I rest my case lol. Batman v Superman- Dawn of Justice - sweetsugar007 - 26-03-2016 02:08 I promise not to spoil it for anyone in terms of revealing the plot . I have just returned from watching the film. I have to say it was a bit of an anti climax.Ben Affleck does not work as Batman, Jesse Eisenberg does not work as Lex Luther. The film spends about an hour and 15 minutes setting up the plot. The film could have jogged along with this and got it all done in about an hour and 45 mins. Rather than the 2.20 hours running time. On the upside sets up the Justice League film quite well, Gal Gadot almost stole the show as Wonder Woman, her own film in that character will be something to watch and Henry Cavill as Superman was solid. Out of 10 about a six DC studios have a lot to learn from Marvel still. |
