RE: Coronavirus - is enough being done to contain it? - HannahsPet - 05-01-2022 13:43 North East ambulance telling people with chest pain or suspected strokes to get themselves a lift or a taxi to hospital because could be up to 2 hours for an ambulance to arrive thats scary RE: Coronavirus - is enough being done to contain it? - Charlemagne - 08-01-2022 17:57 For the 3rd day the official total confirmed case has gone down. The Omicrom wave has moved away from London and the capitols numbers have greatly reduced. Omicrom seems to be hitting the North West, North England, the central belt of Scotland and Northern Ireland the hardest. But is London the beginning of the end for Omicrom in Britain or is it the changes to the reporting process. RE: Coronavirus - is enough being done to contain it? - HannahsPet - 08-01-2022 18:37 Will be changes to the reporting process See we finally went past 150k deaths today RE: Coronavirus - is enough being done to contain it? - BarrieBF - 08-01-2022 22:12 RE: Coronavirus - is enough being done to contain it? - Charlemagne - 10-01-2022 10:30 There's a study which says that if you have a high rate of T cells from getting common colds they may help give you a little immunity to covid. It's definitely the beginning of the end in England London has peaked a few other places are now plateauing pretty much every expect agree that the English peak will be in less than 2 weeks time and by mid Feb it should be basically gone, I did have to lol when read something from one of the independent sage nut jobs who was forced to admit that bojo gamble looks like it's paid off and pretty much everyone else was far to pessimistic in how bad it would be , Pretty much every infection model was wrong as they all refused to put in the SA data about it not being as severe and all wanted to wait for it to be proved in this country, The other interesting thing I read last night was what happening in the other bits of the UK where the restrictions look to have pushed the peak back in those countries so they are likely to have it for a longer time which some now think could lead to a higher % of serious illness than they would have had , lots looking to the data that will come by end of Feb to see which method restrictions or not had the biggest impact of if there was no difference , the UN health agency has requested all the UK data as we have ended up being a big science experiment to see Which way works best, RE: Coronavirus - is enough being done to contain it? - Goodfella3041 - 10-01-2022 14:03 (10-01-2022 11:44 )hornball Wrote: Noticeable that there was no further response after that either!! I liked this so much that I looked for the original tweet to read the full conversation. Turns out that the first tweet was (predictably) deleted so the full conversation is gone. But this screenshot has done the rounds around the Internet and Richard has been asked a few times about her response. He says she responded with another couple of tweets of pure rubbish and then deleted them all. RE: Coronavirus - is enough being done to contain it? - winsaw - 11-01-2022 14:40 Scotland is scrapping the limits on the number of people who can go to outdoor advents ,people will still need to show there vax pass and now it will only be valid if jab less than 4 months ago now 50% of the crowd has to be checked, should never have had a limit in first place as been proved large crowds in england have not created big spreading events, Nicole does seam to be being a bit more senseable this time round, shes expected to scrap social distance and table service from 24th Jan, RE: Coronavirus - is enough being done to contain it? - skully - 11-01-2022 14:49 Considering that some events did indeed contribute to the spread, it was sensible to have restrictions in place. Only once numbers fall enough, or enough people are jabbed, is it okay to ease restrictions, anything else is just stupid. Sturgeon has been ahead of the cunt in Downing Street at every stage of the pandemic. |
