Oh come on there really is a petition to get him back!

The BBC need to get a backbone over this otherwise he'll walk all over them.

They did it with Jonathan Ross and Angus Deayton - The other thing they could do is keep him contracted and just bench him like a petulant premier league forward who things he's bigger than the team.

Team - what team? Clarkson made Top Gear the most popular and lucrative TV show on the BBC.

theres a theory that Clarkson pulled the 3 shows himself.

Thats good timing as http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/jeremy-clarkson-sells-top-gear-1347649

this 3 year deal is up in 6 months so means these last shows were going to be the last recorded under the old deal

thing that angus deayton wasnt the main star of Have i got news for you. he thought he was but its alway hislop and merton who were the main stars i mean if anything happened to them then HIGNFY would be finished

I'm surprised the BBC managed to get their shit together to even act, they're usually too busy covering up their employees peadophillia or tax avoidance. If TG was to leave the BBC completely then there'd be only about two other shows I'd have any interest in watching, definitely grounds to stop paying their completley bullshit licence fee, lol

RE: Top Gear - biggles - 11-03-2015 19:02

I don't disagree but I was making an analogy, ok he is the main star but he doesn't choose the camera angles that everyone raves about correctly or the editing or directing so really there is more talent behind the camera than in front.

If any of us did what he is alleged to have done we would be suspended from our job pending an investigation, possibly even facing criminal charges of assault. Perhaps the BBC have got this one right for once?

Cameron has just backed him calling him a friend - well they are both millionares!

RE: Top Gear - HannahsPet - 11-03-2015 19:55

David Cameron is Clarksons MP for chipping norton where he live its no secret because its been mentioned severel times on the show especially when Alistair campbell was on and i think when Prescott was on

which means milliband will take BBC side Wink

and the bit about if it happened to anyone else crap is total bollocks its happened in sevrel workplaces ive worked in usally sorted out without loss of peoples jobs or without calling in the cops. what did the producer do christ if an old and decrepid 55 clarkson had thrown a punch at me he would be on the floor Wink needing dental work

RE: Top Gear - biggles - 11-03-2015 20:43

I've had to sit in on disciplinary meetings for such as this and the first thing that happens is the person is suspended whilst it's investigated and if it was found to have happened then it's classed as violent conduct in the workplace and instant dismissal so sorry it's not bollocks.
