After getting bowled out for 500 South Africa took 2 early wickets before the close on day 4.
They dismissed India for 223 with Rahane last out for 96 Peterson 4-74
South Africa chased the target of 58 without losing a wicket.

Former England cricket & present selector has been awarded an OBE in the New Years Honours.
He needs an award for all the hard work that he's going to have to put in during 2014.

Corey Anderson scored the fastest International ODI century.He reached his 100 off 36 balls breaking Afridi's record by 1.He finished with 131 from 47 balls with 14 sixes & 6 fours.
New Zealand scored 283-4 from 21 overs in a rain -shortened match,& beat West Indies by 159 runs.
Jessie Ryder scored the sixth fastest ODI ton taking 56 balls.

England's Women won the Test Match in Perth by 61 runs & will now play 3 ODI's & 3 T20's to decide who will win thw Ashes.The Test win accounts for 6 points with 2 points for an ODI & T20 win.As England are the current holders of the Ashes they only need to win 2 out of the remaining 6 games to retain the Ashes.

England have named a provisional squad of 30 for the ICC World Twenty 20 Cup in March.This will be reduced to 15 in February after the Australian Series.
Among the squad which includes KP & Finn who has left England's Tour Party,are 8 players who are yet to represent England in T20 Cricket - Moeen Ali, Harry Gurney, Graham Onions, James Vince, Steven Parry, Gary Ballance, James Taylor & Michael Carberry.

Pakistan pulled off a shock victory over Sri Lanka to tie the series 1-1.The match neandered along for four days with Sri Lanka playing for a draw with a -0 lead in the series.After an 87 run lead on 1st innings Sri lanka lost their last 5 wickets for 81 runs on the morning of day 5,leaving Pakistan 302 in 2 sessions at 5.25,which proved to be the highest run rate achieved to win a Test with a target of 300 +.
Sri Lanka batted for a total of 273.4 overs in the match,Pakistan batted for only 166.4 overs to score one run more.

Short boundaries, fast, bouncy pitch.
Should be a belting game.

^^ Amazing game which ended in a tie,New Zealand making 314 all out Guptill 111.Williamson 64, Ronchi,38, Southee 27 Jadeja 47-2 Guptill 7 Williamson adding 153 for the 2 wicket.
India 314-9 Dhawa 28 & Sharma 39 put on a 64 run opening partnership,before the fell to 79-4.Raina 31 & Dhoni 50 added 67 for the 5th wicket,before Ashwin 65 & Jadeja 66 not out, put on 85 for the 7th wicket.
With 18 required from the last over Jadeja almost got his side home,2 needed from the final ball the last pair could only scramble a single.
