CAS said the FIFA Ethics Committee's verdict is expected on 21 December anyway, which is only 10 days away, so they saw nothing unfair in Platini being banned until then. I cannot go that far back with the politics of football for obvious reasons, but I've always known that Blatter was both anti-England, and a crook....?
