RE: Star Trek Discovery - *Kal-El* - 04-01-2022 01:11

Well prepared to be disappointed because it’s half way through it’s run now so i doubt it’s gonna change. Yeah Star Trek Shows in the past have taken there time warn up and find there own identity but that was old Star Trek. Enterprise was getting better but they made changes way to late with ratings way too low there was even 5th season already planned and written and from I saw it was gonna very interesting. Discovery been on 4 years now and half way through run don’t except dramatic changes that’s all am saying. All of the old Star Treks never changed during the seasons it was always at start of the next season that’s why am saying with Discovery don’t except it to be anything from the rest of season 4.

Good episode last week "All In" as Discovery returned from its mid-season break.

I agree, I enjoyed it, the nods to previous shows were fun too.

I'm liking the various theories about who is behind/inside that energy field, Omega weapons would be fucking terrible though, considering what Book and Mr Untrustworthy are planning. They aren't coming back from this if they piss off a race that don't give a shit about the damage their dredger is doing. I mean, if that thing is doing that kind of damage, imagine the weapons. lol.

Give me a star system filled with new generation Borg or even better, some new scary advanced race that think of everyone else as ants, either way, it has to be something very cool, if not, the disappointment will be huge.

Sadly, "Mr Untrustworthy" has already discounted it being the Iconians, which would have been worthwhile. Be nice if he was wrong. Sad

RE: Star Trek Discovery - Rammyrascal - 18-02-2022 22:37

A good solid episode this week including the return of a familiar face & a revelation about the anomaly

I hope the Species 10-C reveal will be worth all this toing and froing

^It'll be the Tribbles. They now self-identify as The Borg and Female Space Jesus will spend 3 episodes emotionally arguing for their right to live before Saru finally does what he should have done ages ago and takes command after throwing her out of a Shuttle Bay.

He then Nukes them from orbit and the Federation lives happily ever after.
