I like to be positive mate but I can't see it this season personally. It is possible though.
I think if he gets rid of the deadwood in the summer to free up some cash, sorts the defence out, motivates them and gives them a kick up the backside, then next season will be very interesting.
Obviously though I'd rather it happen this year as I'm sure you would!
We'll see won't we. Can't wait.

He certainly did mate. I feel for the guy but like you say, he made his mistakes. Snodin and the likes have to take some of the blame as well, the coaching staff were useless. Their tactics seemed to be "if they score one, we'll score two", which sounds good, but what if you don't score two? Then you end up in our position! Bates has done the right thing ( never thought I'd say it )
Onwards and upwards now eh!

You cant knock his record for getting teams promoted I just hope its not at the expense of my lot (Reading)

Warnock has the experience and strength of character to take on the Leeds job. Its a club with a big following and I think he will have them celebrating promotion if not this year through the playoffs then maybe next year by whatever means.

Alan Curbishley has withdrawn himself from consideration for the Wolves job. With Neil Warnock now out of the running too their original shortlist of 3 is looking a bit thin.
RE: Football Banter - Money_Shot - 20-02-2012 18:36
Simon Grayson has been appointed Huddersfield Town manager.

Alan Curbishley vision of the future for the club was different than that of the Wolves chairman Steve Morgan
Probably means that Curbishley wants to spend some money and Morgan doesn't.
So who's next, Sunderland failure Steve Bruce or double failure Roy Keane
