At the close of the 4th day most bookmakers have Australia at 1/20 although Paddy Power go 1/33. Odds on England winning vary betwen 10/1 and 14/1 with the draw on offer at odds from 22/1 to 30/1.

Fortunately I missed that Terrance but would agree strongly with your assessment on him. On the other hand did see the interview with Watson who seems a decent bloke.

KP strikes again..

He see the opposition stick someone on the boundary so he decides that he will prove himself by hitting the ball over his head.
But he keeps holing out instead annoyed

However I appear to be wrong about Stokes. He is a test batsman after all. He's the only positive for the whole series

It's lunch on the 5th day and England are 332/6 with the not out batsmen Stokes 117 and Bresnan 7. The morning session saw 81 runs scored for the loss of 1 wicket. There are a minimum of 61 overs to be bowled in the match.

All over congrats to the Aussie's who have played the better cricket by far. Good to see some fight from England and excellent knock from Stokes. Let's hope they can dust themselves down from this disappointment and although it is too late for the Ashes salvage some pride in the next two matches.

Well done to Stokes on making his maiden century

Same story as the last 4 wicket could only manage to add 17 runs.

Maybe Stokes can progress and develop in the mould of beefy or Fred which would be good news for the future. I would wonder if Andy Flower would consider his position as England coach and who would be favourite to take over if he did so?
