Ah well enjoy the Tories while you still can because Scottish Independence is inevitable now Smile

We put behind us the national shame of 18th September and if the referendum question was put forward tomorrow then it would be an overwhelming Yes Big Grin

This was only Stage 1 of the SNP master plan underway. Also let me explain to you how the voting system works but in simple terms.

If I was to Poll a group of people as to which restaurant we should all eat at from the following choices out of 100 people and the votes went as follows.

Indian 38
Chinese 20
Italian 42

Right so Italian has come out on top, are you then going to refuse to go to this restaurant because that was less than 50% of the poll Rolleyes

I bet if those in prison were allowed to vote I don't think the Conservatives would have won an overall majority, would they?

RE: General Election Vote - Scottishbloke - 10-05-2015 06:13

Well lets be honest here if they were allowed the vote ofcourse they would vote against the Government in charge at the time of their conviction as most criminals blame everybody else for their predicament rather than themselves but in saying that even if Prisoners were allowed the vote I very much doubt they would have the changed the outcome of the General Election somehow Rolleyes

Is that the same 'free electoral system' where you tell people who vote differently to you, they should be ashamed of themselves?

That's called Freedom Of Speech, it's written in the constitution. You really ought to do more research as you've got a very poor concept in understanding of how the system works.

Didn't you go to school or were you just poorly educated due to the massive cuts which were inflicted on the education sector under the Torie Government which you voted in Bounce

It's interesting when people talk about bringing in PR because under that system their would have been a much broader representation of parties, with a greater number of seats in parliament, based on the percentage of people who voted. The party or combination of parties in the government, may have been radically different as well.

Personally I can't see PR coming in anytime soon, especially as the main parties would have it all to lose, rather than to gain.
