you came back from 3 nil down they came back from 4 nil down and in less time so that make's it better comeback plus the gulf between AFC and NUFC is greater than the one between ACFC and LFC.
UNITED'S VICTORY IN 99 WAS BETTER THAN YOUR BUNCH OF MUPPETS EFFORT IN 05

I admit I got a bit fed up after Bolton - but I was still there again yesterday, still be there against Arsenal and still be there regardless.

It was a good day all round for the "daytime clique". Wolves ended Man U's unbeaten run, Hull stuffed their local rivals 5-1 away and even Palace won (our first since Dougie was made permanent boss). The explanation is simple: it's Hannah Martin weekend on Elite

Hope Dougie does a good job for you. Ex Wolves and always managed to score against us, really like the bloke (in a manly way)....
RE: Football Banter - eagle_si - 06-02-2011 07:36
^^^ Cheers for that. Dougie is a legend at Palace and if he keeps us up, that status will be eternal. Things are definitely moving in the right direction, we've gone seven home games without conceding (though three have been goalless draws). Now we just have to stop losing 3-0 away, a point at Watford last Tuesday was the first step.
Dougie is of course not the only Palace legend with a Wolves connection. There's also Geoff Thomas, who still has a soft spot for all his former clubs. Here's one of his tweets from last night:
Quote:Fantastic. Great win for Wolves. Big smile from Mick and a show of class from Sir Alex as they hugged at the end of the game.
RE: Football Banter - thinwhiteduke - 06-02-2011 08:16
There's also Mark Kennedy..
Don't know how you feel about him but he doesn't rate very highly at the Molineux.......Lazy fucker..

Why was there so many goals yesterday?
Was it great goals, or goalkeeping mistakes, or bad refereeing decisions.
On most of them were down to bad defending.
I've never seen so many penalties given, and most of them were justified.

What a Shithole
Forgot just how bad this ground was, shit pitch, shit booze, piss soaked bogs and the local fuzz stopping us from drinking in the pub near the ground was taking the piss
RE: Football Banter - gazfc - 06-02-2011 10:42
Great result though, first time I've seen us score five in a about 6 years and a hatrick to boot
