I just realised that I left a thought in this post half undone, it must of been because Rio came up with his nonsense whilst I was writing & it broke my train of thought. What I was going to say was in response to Goodfella's comment on Italy being more tired was: Even if England do win their game against Denmark you don' know how England would win it, they might go the full 120 as well, as it turns out, that is what happened.

I did say I’d congratulate so great job
I’ve thought since the quarters if it is England v Italy in final that England boo them for basically the whole match which would be uncalled for, if we can avoid that and have a goal filled game

They should also avoid settling for scoring from their only decent set piece then letting the opposition put together all the potent moves thereafter.

Semi finals are never easy affairs and after all the heartaches of years gone by it is nice to see England get through to a final.
But it will all be for nothing without victory on Sunday. Sport at the highest level is a ruthless, results business.
There is no celebration on my part whatsover.
There is a job for England to do in one final match.
I think back to comments apparently made by the coach of the England cricket team Trevor Bayliss to his players after defeating Australia to reach the World Cup Final of 2019.
“That’s why Australians think the English can’t win anything. You’re celebrating winning the semi-final, but real winners win the final.”
Truer words never spoken.
Italy will be a mighty tough opponent and one that I admire immensely having always appreciated Serie A and Italian football generally down the years.
May the best team win.
