Here's hoping Cro Cop busts out a LHK and KO's Mir. I can but dream can't I?

If you haven't seen it already, then I highly recommend you to try & check out this un-aired prelim fight from UFN 22. Very action heavy & in my opinion, fight of the night.

My neck is so sore today as we were training in clinch work at mma class last night. I'd never realised how the clinch was such a versatile tool for setting up throws & submissions until yesterday.
I thought I did well, held my own against our talented instructor too. Well, aside from our 2nd spar when, from the clinch, he jumped up & applied a gruelingly unpleasant body scissors which I soon tapped out to.
Training in various aspects of MMA (purely as a hobby) really makes me appreciate how tough these fights must be in the cage.

Wow, how awesome is Bruce Leroy on the Ultimate Fighter? lol

Well done on making this a great thread. I only wish I had more time to contribute.

Enjoy your weekend & of curse, UFC tonight.

As much as i thought that would be the case, and was expecting a bit of a damp squib i had to say i was really impressed with the fight from an entertainment point of view.

Alex Reid really surprised me with his heart and effort but i think after a good first 2 rounds he faded away in the last 3 rounds but credit to him for going the distance like that.

RE: UFC - Chilly - 25-09-2010 22:37

^^^^ True. He tired in the last few rounds, which in the end cost him the fight. Reid also took some big hits, yet he didn't give up, so credit to him for that. Cool
