Its a big day for Ireland, Trappatoni has said he will make some changes. I'm a little disappointed he is not leaving Keane out of the squad. It looks like it will be a 4 5 1 formation with Cox being the extra man in midfield.

If I was managing Ireland I would switch to a 4 2 3 1 formation. Have Given in goals. Dunne and St.Ledger as the centre back pairing. Kelly at right back and O'Shea at left back. Have Andrews and Gibson as the two holding midfielders. Have McClean, McGeady and Duff has the three attacking midfielders. Have Long or Walters up front.

We also stand a small chance today if Spain decide not to use a striker, but I think Torres will start up front tonight

Former Republic of Ireland international Michael Robinson said in the Spanish media that Spain v Ireland is like Muhammad Ali fighting a dwarf, true maybe but he should be a bit more respectful towards his country

Ya he's probably right, but he doesn't need to be a cunt about it. If he said the match will be like David vs Goliath, it would have been more respectful. I'm actually a little more relaxed going into the Spain match than the Croatia match and I'm hoping the players feel relaxed, as I don't think theres a lot of pressure on them. Also they have nothing to lose, so they might as well go all out and give a good performance

Torres is playing up front for Spain, but the good news is that Fabregas is not playing
