But the plane's turn south appears to have required human intervention, so why are mechanical problems or a decompression the only "reasoned theories" ?

wasn't an exhaustive list and no one really knows why the turn southward was made....

There are media reports of an object washed ashore in the Maldives, believed to be a fire suppression bottle of the type used on the missing MH370. What are the odds of one of these floating in the ocean, washing up ashore thousands of miles away from search area, when no other plane has been reported missing in the area? Could ocean currents account for this, or are they looking in the wrong place? Or could this be an elaborate hoax?

If we trust in the information from Inmarsat and the plane flying south of Australia, as seems to be accepted now, the fire extinguisher bottle in the Maldives can't possibly be from MH370.

I wonder why the satellite images aren't clearer? What happened to all those high resolution satellite pictures that are shown sometimes giving fantastic detail?

The high-res ones are too busy looking at what the Russian soldiers are having for lunch on the Ukraine border. Tongue

One of the world governments knows what happened to this plane, they are just holding back information, there is no way a plane this big can vanish...

I read some interesting news about the Freescale company. The day after flight MH370 went missing they were granted a patent on a method of manufacturing microchips for use in defence projects. The 4 people named in the patent as the inventors of the patented process all happened to on board the missing plane.
