Great shout 77 but I would give him a few years. If he can make rangers a force not just in Scotland but also in Europe than he would have to be considered. If it weren't for the fact that I'm a WestHam fan and a complete selfish bastard I would say Bilic.

The last few posts just show the lack of quality English coaches there are around. Eddie Howe would maybe be a prospect further down the line but the cupboard is pretty bare

It's the old adage. To get a top club job you have to have big club experience, to have big club Experience you have to have a job managing a big Club. Pardew might be worth a go though he does not exactly fill my heart with glee.

I'm not happy about the format of the competition.
Seems silly that a 3rd placed team should go through to the next round.
It would have been better with another two groups where just the top 2 team qualify to the next round. And we'd also get more matches.

^ That would mean hardly anyone got knocked out in qualifying though. Might have been better to have 4 groups of 6 and top 4 from each group qualify but that would extend the tournament as would mean 5 matches each in the group phase. If just had top 2 qualify from group stage you could lose the last 16 round.

The optimum format was 16 teams in 4 groups of four. The greedy bastards decided that it would be more lucrative for the host nations if they had more teams in it.
