It's said that May and Hammond aren't the greatest of chums, presumably not helped by her 'throwing him under the bus' when she u-turned on the National Insurance rise. Rolleyes

I believe there has been some speculation as to whether he would remain Chancellor if/when the Tories win.

^ There's already been speculation about May's future, given her abysmal campaign for an election that she called - unless she gets a landslide (as she and her party expected when calling the election), some have suggested that she'll be forced out after EU negotiations have concluded.

However, 'a week's a long time in politics', so who knows what the 'climate' will be like then... Rolleyes

The Monster Raving Loony Party apparently propose tax payers should receive nectar points from HMRC Big Grin.
