RE: General Site Questions - Tommy826 - 26-08-2023 10:36 Same here. Most of yesterday. Was OK this morning but just started again. Doing my head in. RE: General Site Questions - darren73 - 26-08-2023 11:44 Very slow again today RE: General Site Questions - southsidestu - 26-08-2023 17:09 Same for me, its mixed though it took a bit for me to get to this thread but going from page 27 to 28 was instantaneous RE: General Site Questions - darren73 - 26-08-2023 17:09 Have we got any update why the forum is so slow at the moment RE: General Site Questions - skully - 26-08-2023 18:39 It's been reported to admin. Not sure what's going on myself, but I have seen the same slow loading that everyone else has. RE: General Site Questions - Snooks - 26-08-2023 18:52 It's quite inconsistent at the moment. Sometimes pages take forever to load. Sometimes not. RE: General Site Questions - Tumble_Drier - 26-08-2023 20:24 Seems to have improved quite a bit now. Has Admin applied some fresh Hamsters to the wheel powering the server? RE: slow boards help!!!... check here - Snooks - 27-08-2023 10:33 Intermittent go slow still happening at my end. RE: slow boards help!!!... check here - andyjb - 27-08-2023 10:44 Was working fine around 1 a.m. RE: slow boards help!!!... check here - admin. - 27-08-2023 11:13 Unfortunately this isn't a server issue. Tests have shown that the server hasn't had an unusual load in the last few days and is responding normally. The problem is that requests sent to the server are timing out before they get there. The guilty party appears to be a company called Zayo which owns a large part of the internet infrastructure. If it was a server issue we could do something about it, but connection issues like this are beyond our control. The only solution I've been offered is to use a different ISP and hope it uses a different route to the server. That isn't very helpful, but it does show that finding a way of bypassing Zayo would be the only way around the current problem. |
