Well obviously there's a lot here but but I for one would like the babe channels to change out of recognition from what they do now. Something like Ideal World's Friday Fashion meets The One Show with Fernanda Heart and Co as comperes.
Apart from anything else being a TV babe must be brain numbingly boring and the channels have to pay for their airtime anyway so why not do something more with it.

Sounds like a business model for lunatics so S66 will no doubt do it Bounce

By that logic your saying more people will call in the less explicit the show is? I personally would be more tempered to call in knowing I could ask the onscreen girl to "flash" lol.

As for the free to air explicit stuff.... I personally need longer than 5 minutes ?

Originally the babe shows all ran on general entertainment licenses there was a long consultation which resulted in Ofcom forcing them to change to Teleshopping licenses

The problem is their main raison d'être is to sell us all something, I.e. sex or the fantasy of it at least.

You are correct, I had forgotten about that.

Did it not have something to do with too many of the channels were showing the same feed? For example three different Babestation Channels all showing the same content at the same time. An ENTs licence wouldn't allow that, perhaps that is one of the reasons they changed.

It was all part of the wider consultation into participation Tv with the quiz channels and competitions on TV

It seems that the main defence that the studio offered according to Ofcom, was that children would not find them easily and that although they broke the rules, they were not as bad as others were, whom operate under different rules that they did not break.

Not a very good defence but looking back at previous times they have been told off, they seem to of tried the same defence then too.

If you have been caught before and told off, say sorry and promise not to do so again and then carry on exactly the same as before, I am not sure how the studio expect to keep getting away with it. Find a better way of doing the job (and yes you may see an income reduction) or else face the consequences and pay the fines etc, if Ofcom ever charge any, as it is not clear that they have done so.

My advice will be remove pervcam from girls on tv before ten at night and make them dress more appropriately for the time slot and keep all adult stuff to the web which is where it is all heading anyway.

When my Sky Plus HD box gave up the ghost sky gave me a new Sky Q box the adult channels where hidden in the epg and I had to enter my pin to view them it doesn't ask for your pin after that so I do agree on what Studio 66tv are saying about children will find it hard to find its channels.

There are plenty of examples of movies released in the UK with a PG or 12 certificates that are heavy on nudity.

The film "Mrs Henderson Presents" is rated 12 and has more full frontal shots than a night of Babestation. The old argument is whether or not nudity is being used in a sexual context.

That movie however (even with a 12 rating from the BBFC) is showing nudity in a sexual context as its about women naked on stage and loads of men paying to come and see them naked.

With the "adult" channels they can be hidden and pin protected but what the channels show are much less than what can be accessed (much more easily online) or in Mrs Henderson Presents lol
