It's nothing to do with attitude. It's about what Evelyn is comfortable with.

For me it seems like if literally anyone can view the content live then why should it be restricted and taken away from the viewers who normally watch but aren't able to and also contribute.

Fair enough don't allow to be posted on xxx sites but on here we all watch anyway. We are fans and contributors and will watch when we can so why should it matter if it's live or not live.

Plus like I said before... You have to 'opt in' to watch on here. It wont be stumbled on by mistake by random people if that is what Evelyn doesn't want happening.

I have been reading copyright law as applied on the internet, and I think the following is correct.

Obviously, neither Evelyn nor S 66 can shut down another internet domain. S 66 can require a site to remove material that breaches its copyright. If the site does not comply, then S 66 can approach the appropriate registrar or host provider and ask them to pursue the matter. If the site still refuses - rather stupidly, I would have thought - then the host provider can disable the site, and invite the site to either contest the copyright breach, or remove the offending material. I am sure that only a body like the host actually has the power to do this.

So the site must have been very unwise to argue with the host which it depends upon for its existence.

The site in question is the one where quiquems posts a lot of vids.
