RE: Top Gear - HannahsPet - 16-03-2015 09:31 Well they better hurry up only 3 weeks until his contract expires RE: Top Gear - Tractor boy - 16-03-2015 09:34 It seems strange to me that they didn't have a new contract signed and sealed before this incident happened. Unless of course they never intended to offer him one. Unless of course they never intended to offer him one. get the feeling both parties didnt want a new contract BBC would have had to pay him even more and maybe clarkson didnt want to be bbc stooge anymore and they both wanted a way out RE: Top Gear - terence - 16-03-2015 16:41 http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/jeremy-clarkson-called-top-gear-5330155 cunt! never liked him. RE: Top Gear - Tractor boy - 16-03-2015 17:21 I wonder how many of the million people who petitioned for Clarkson to reinstated would find it acceptable to be treated the way the producer was in their own workplace.? But you are assuming his guilt. Were you there when the incident occurred? Just because reports appear in the newspapers doesn't mean there is a shred of truth in them. The hearing needs to be conducted before he is found guilty. As for Jonathan Ross? Why go to him for his viewpoint? Hardly a paragon of restrained behaviour himself. I once made the front page of a paper when I was stuck in a lift between floors for 3 hours. I waited patiently for the fire brigade to winch the lift down. I then jumped up through a ceiling hatch and climbed up the ladder they lowered. End of story of what happened. Honestly there was little excitement in reality. The press though? "Man stuck in faulty lift feared for his life as it plummeted between floors. Emergency services were on the scene but struggled for hours to rescue him" Utter sensationalist bullshit. RE: Top Gear - bytor - 16-03-2015 18:06 Top Gear on Dave just now with guest Benedict Cumberbatch. Clarkson to Cumberbatch. "I really feel jealous of you. Besides getting to fly a spaceship you know how to punch. Could you show me how to punch?" So there you are, Arty farty Cumberbatch is the real villain here. If I had my way I'd string him up by his nads for causing so much grief RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 16-03-2015 21:35 Wow, the Daily Mirror. For people who can't manage the long words in the Guardian But seriously... ...a 40-minute rant during which nobody whatsoever did anything except gawp in shock? Puh-leaze. Hitting a colleague is still not big or clever, but all it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to sit around for 40 minutes doing nothing. Except making notes, perhaps. RE: Top Gear - Whynot - 16-03-2015 21:47 I saw it summed up succinctly today. If you vote to the right, Clarkson is a pc hating hero. If you vote to the left he is a cunt. For me... cunt!! RE: Top Gear - HannahsPet - 23-03-2015 08:29 Well looks like its not going be a good ending BBC have cancelled the live tours heard a story on sky news one of the paper people had friend high up in bbc and apparently they wanted rid after the eeny meeny miney mo gate but the accountants told the head of the depts that they would have to lose 20-30 million in there budgets if they wanted rid i know what will happen they will get a replacement for clarkson which will be a failure and then 12 months time they will resign clarkson on an even bigger contract |
