hoy has won multiple medals at the olympics where as cav hasnt, surely cav is the fastest sprinter in the world and im guessing he could get into the british sprint team and if he really wants that olympic medal or even that gold then surely he shud be riding on the track team in sprints and the keirin! hav i totally got it wrong here and doesnt he like to ride on the track or is he not as quick as hoy and the rest?

Cav' did say earlier he doesn't miss the daily training involved in track cycling. You are right, there is no reason why he couldn't make the change again, Wiggins went from track to road, and like Tumble said, Cav' has come from track. I think it is just a personal choice to stay on the road. Maybe the flurry of golds would change his mind.
