I don't think the championships are wide open again, although the Mercedes chance of becoming the first team to win every race in a season is over. But they're still miles ahead of everyone else, and the control electronics failure in both cars yesterday were probably caused by a single fixable issue.

Complacent Hamilton comes into pits instead of completing his lap, thinking he has pole position in the bag, at the end of Q3.
Everyone else keeps going and chops about 3 seconds off the lap time on a bit of dry track on the final sector, pushing Hamilton down to 6th place, egg very much on face.
