I agree hugh End of the day the decisions could have gone either way, Croatia didn't really do a lot during the game, Brasils goals came through attacking and getting into those situations, and a very very poor goalkeeper. Before the match even started the chances were always that Brasil would win, look at our home record, speaks for it's self. There was nothing to do with anybody cheating! These kind of desicions happen all the time in all football games in any competition stop moaning about it! Sometimes you get them sometimes you don't If these decisions went Englands way in your games you would all be on here saying how good the ref was for spotting the clear fouls ect. Anyone who doesn't do their job properly deserved to be slagged off, we do it to players, managers, gk, doctors, nurses, cops and everyone else in society, why not refs? RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Fernandez Esperenda - 12-06-2014 23:37 No doubt if I was Croatian you would be on here laughing telling me how shit Croatia were.. Joey If England play and win 3 - 1 against Italy I will give them credit... but it's doubtful... End of the day Brasil won 3-1 against Croatia, big deal, i'd expect us to beat teams like Croatia all day long. The referee made the decisions, they were the rules, nothing in that game was cheating by anybody... Nobody thought Croatia would win and they didn't, like I said to you before, our defence isn't the best when you insisted it was... we will improve, we didn't play anywhere near our best and won the game 3 -1 in the opening game of the world cup, I will take that all day long... Lets see wait and see how England do before I make any comment on them.. Fernandez if Brazil can get through a game and win it without a dive somewhere in it, I'll give them credit. But that's doubtful too. RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - Joey 27 - 12-06-2014 23:47 why did you delete that long post fernandez? if we beat italy 3-1 that's better than you beating croatia 3-1 so you should give us credit, no doubt you will say we got lucky and won't get past the quarter-finals blah blah blah, i admit im a wind up merchant but so are you i have no serious problem with you i just do it for fun and to pass the time, i never have and never will report you to the mods about fucking football anyway i said your strikers aren't that good and after last night the jury's still out RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - whorelover - 12-06-2014 23:49 (12-06-2014 23:00 )hugh_g_rection Wrote: Haha, seriously? Doctors? Players? Managers? Lawyers? If a doctor doesn't have access to the correct tools and x-rays, he'd complain and wouldn't do his job. Can't remember the last time a ref demanded the use of replays, can you? If the refs need them they need to speak up. Criticism of Brazil means you're a troll? When Brazil or any other team play shit, I'll say they played shit. Stop bitching at every post you disagree with. RE: World Cup 2014 Brasil - lovebabes56 - 13-06-2014 05:20 The important thing was Brazil got the job done that was expected. I agree it was a soft penalty but I think it would have taken a brave ref not to give it. I would say that if Baltter's idea of two reviews per match had been instigated in this competition, that penalty would have been one of them for Croatia I'm sure. good job we never saw his face at the opening ceremony. Croatia were one of a couple of European teams tipped to do well at this World Cup but sadly for me they didn't seem to be at their best last night, and the quality of Brazil came through. I would say your defence isn't crap or shit Fernandez, but certainly I would think as time goes on it will be better. Alberto seemed happy with it!! (By the way for a 70 year old ex footballer, I think he has looked after himself pretty well) And I believe the defence will get stronger. The big problem for us (England) against Italy tomorrow will coping with the tempo of the game. I doubt it will be a typical European international tie I think both sides will probably be a little cautious for at least the first 20 minutes of each half, but certainly I would go with Sterling rather than Wellbeck.
