i think the answer would be to de politicise the poppy if that was possible. the orange men over here have knid of hijacked it as well. i lost 2 great uncles in the 1st world war, but i can't wear a poppy where i live. and it sucks balls.

Yeah there is a sort of Poppy Fascism out there I mean even the Cookie Monster was forced to wear one on the One show Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue and god help anyone who doesnt wear one

In the latest FIFA Rankings England fall to 13th while Wales move up to 12th Brazil are back up to 2nd in the world behind Argentina.

In the women's rankings, England are in 5th place with the USA in top spot

FIFA may have changed their leadership but they are still acting like a load of dick heads. annoyed

They've imposed combined fines of around £80,000 to the home nations teams because either the teams or their fans wore poppies on Armistice Day.

The FA are appealing the decision.

I want to know what happens to the fines. Are they to go to deserving charities or are to go into the coffers of FIFA.
And the Home Nations teams should avoid playing international matches at this time of the year.

more than likely it will end up in Sepp Blatter's retirement fund
