I'll say it again to you I oppose proportional representation as does the SNP when it comes to issues such as the General Election as it would immediately put Scotland at a disadvantage because of our population and I also oppose it when it comes to the EU Referendum for the same reasons which I have stated above.

It could work however in the Scottish Elections but that would just open up a can of worms in my opinion. The SNP stance on it and my stance on the issue is based on merits and fairness so I don't think the SNP should have to explain themselves anymore clearer on this issue. There you go you have your answer.

Just read the article and it says sources but I've yet to hear anybody within the SNP movement make such a bold statement. That's nothing more than junk cooked up by anti Nationalist newspapers so I'm hardly surprised especially when Sturgeon said the more seats Scotland get the better, it seems highly unlikely that she or her Party would contradict themselves by backing proportional representation.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2015-32601281 - Not even the biased BBC were able to drag the name of the SNP into proportional representation, expect the Herald to be sued for making this junk up - No wonder people call Journalists scum.

Well with that being the case which I had not realised prior to reading this article I shall be sending an e-mail to my local SNP member urging him to gather support to oppose those measures and I also intend to gather support from my fellow supporters of the Party too but note how she chose the words in theory so its not as concrete as it would appear.

She has to vote for it you cant come down here spouting about progressive politics and then vote against a progressive new way of making votes count well makes you sound well like a tory renegging on stuff Wink

Do you not even read your own party's manifesto?

So you think it's ok for the SNP to abandon long held principles whenever it suits them?
That bodes well for an independent Scotland Rolleyes
