Dan Martin broke 3 vertebra on stage 9 last year when Porte took him out of it, suffered on and finished 6th overall. Unreal

Apparently the clock stopped early on Froome's finish when he was still 5 metres from the line, because the on the line technology was triggered by a French policeman standing on it.

Chris Froome had a crash today before stage 4 of the Criterium du Dauhine. Team INEOS's principal Dave Brailsford said it looks like Froome is will muiss the Tour de France because of his injuries.

He is in intensive care and will miss the Tour of Belgium injuries are a fracturing of his femur and breaking his hip, elbow and ribs. I would say there is a big doubt about him of being in the field for the Tour All thoughts with his family and hope he makes a speedy recovery.
