They each use a P O Box for thier Postal adddress and collect thier mail personally using thier key (or wait until the Postman goes on holiday lol )

Answer :
Derek sends a locked box with his letter to John.
John adds his lock to the box and returns it to Derek.
Derek gets the box, removes his lock and returns it to John.
John can now open box safely that has his lock on it.

The row boat can only hold 100 kilos.
John weighs 80 kilos.
His wife and daughter weigh 40 kilos each.
Question: How do all three cross the river?
