I have wondered if there was a channel doing the same thing but it was a pay each day with the remote like the ppv stuff with the girls going fully nude and being able to get really dirty like internet webcam stuff if there would be a big audience for it reading some of the posts guess that's a maybe if it was a free call and not premium

You're not getting it - when I said about americans paying twice over, I meant once for the service, and again to call the girls.

Anyway, thinking about it, there's already a "hardcore" service - 3G, so I guess it will just be like that, only televised. Fortunately for me (and my wallet) my favorite girls are the glamour babes who will no doubt stay on the free (and freeview) channels (at least I hope so!)

If others want porn stars (and a few old slappers) on pay per view, that's up to them.

Regarding other channels/services... Yeah, I agree with what you're saying about viewers/customers paying twice over, hidden charges, etc. I've always made that clear in other posts on this forum. That ain't a good way to do business...

What I have planned is not currently available on any adult free-to-air, pay-per-view or subscription channel in the UK. After all, what would be the point of doing the same thing as all the others... Wink

But seriously though, I'm probably in the minority here, but if we ended up paying to watch any babe channels, I for one, would be none to happy about it. What I like about them is that they're free-to-air. I like being able to turn any of them on of a Friday or Saturday night, and be able to watch - no strings (financial or otherwise) attached. I have no problem with encryption, but paying to get it unencrypted is what I have the problem with.

I will finish up with one question for Winston Wolfe - will we have to pay to watch this new initiative?

The good thing is my plans won't interfere with the current free-to-air format... So if you like the current format, then no worries. However, that does mean the new format is very likely to be a pay-per-view/subscription channel. It will be a totally different thing, so comparisons with the current format would be pointless...

Bear in mind that there is no concrete deal in place with any channel and negotiations are very much open, which isn't straightforward in most industries let alone this one!

There is an ideal scenario, but I won't say just yet... Wink

Good point. Every channel is deriving income from some source or sources.

admin/ModSta, even if this 'extra' channel is encrypted, Ofcom still don't permit anything close to R18-type material. So what's the deal? More of the same? A 'miracle' change in Ofcom's Code in the offing?

I suppose as it stands you might get away with full frontal and flashing behind encryption but nothing like what's on Sexstation online - or can/will you? And how much will it cost to view this something 'extra' - is it PPV nightly and/or monthly sub to get a peek at this encrypted peepshow?

And what about those of us on Freeview? Can we pay/play too?
