There are no other candidates so far, so it's unlikely that there will be any election.
Platini is doing a good job anyway and I agree with nearly everything that UEFA have done since he became president. I'm not sure about expanding the UEFA Championship to 24 teams though - doesn't make the qualifying competition a nonsense? With 24 teams in the finals I can't see how one of the bigger countries like England could ever not qualify, making the qualifying campaign a bit pointless. 24 teams is not a good number for a finals competition anyway. I understand why it was done though, because Platini and others at UEFA are keen to give some of the smaller countries more of a chance of being in the finals, hence 24 teams instead of 16.

Why is this vindictive old criminal still allowed to function? As head of FIFA that was his job to stamp out corruption. It's time all the money and limousines were taken of this crook, and his criminal gang, and dealt with by the law, and not the law for the filthy rich.
