Problem is Westwood has thrown away great positions in Major's more than once(the open and masters last year comes to mind) I hope either those two win but with Woods and Michelson lurking in the background waiting to pounce that is by no Men a foregone conclusion

I still think that Tiger Woods is the best golfer ever walk this planet, and despite all the problems, he will come back stronger than ever to claim majors for years to come. His shotmaking, and temperament under pressure stand him out from all the rest.Cool

From an English point of view, I would love to see Ian Poulter, Justin Rose or Lee Westwood claim the green jacket. Cool

Apologies if any of the above names are already out, I have no idea whats been going on as not been able to catch any of the action so far this weekend. Huh

Justin Rose wasn't there I'm afraid but Westwood and Poulter share the lead! Exciting! As for the stripy one, well he let himslef down badly but he's gone down far more in my estimation by agreeing to that ridiculous ad with his dead Dad's voice.

According to Dictionary.com, golf is very much a sport

Mickelson is such a mercurial talent. One minute West Wood is coasting then in 3 holes Mickelson gains 5 shots on him unbelievable. On saying that I cant believe I passed up the chance of having an each way bet on WestWood at 13-1annoyed

RE: The Masters - hagman1989 - 11-04-2010 03:34

woods is unreal first competitive golf for months and he sits in third on a course he knows well

hes also ussually brilliant on the final day

RE: The Masters - setter1000 - 11-04-2010 03:37

He has never won a major though when he has not been in front going into the last day and in his last major he threw away a lead going into the last day. I would be very surprised if he managed to pull a rabbit out of the hat in this one

RE: The Masters - rickhardo - 11-04-2010 08:20

That was all going swimmingly until Lefty went mental. Still Westwood has looked very calm so far and if he can get away to a good start I think he can hold on. Mickelson can be a little like Tiger at times whn chasing - he can push a bit too hard and make big mistakes but as we saw last night he's just as likely to pick up shots at a frightening rate. It's going to be well worth watching anyway. Shame Poulter's driving deserted him last night.

One bad shot from McIlroy and his game totally feel away.

He tried to cut a corner too much, hit a tree and it ended up way off the fairway near some cabins.
Every shot after end up in disaster.

He finished well down the field.

So was it bad luck, or did the pressure get to him?
