Well it's obviously a massive risk, but potentially a very exciting appointment. Great record at Porto and Academica. Just really hope Roman doesn't sack him at the first sign of indifferent form, especially after the money we spent getting him

Am not a Chelsea fan but i was born,i really do hope that he is a success there. I do think the other manager was treated badly taken in to account that Drogba was ill for some of the season and Lampard was out for a while too, the only mistake the previous manager made was playing a diamond formation and he went back to playing 4-4-2 they tore teams apart. Roman Abramovich needs to stay out and let Andre Villas-Boas handly the team, Abramovich needs to supply funds and most importantly give the time to build the side to how Villa-Boas wants.

I expect spurs to turn this down and string this out until last day of the transfer window just to piss Chelsea off and I Don't think he'll go for anything less than thirty million.

It looks like they'll reject the new bid until they get something £30m+ I reckon (rumour that Drogs could be involved as well which I bloody hope doesn't happen)
Modric will come to us eventually I'm sure of it but they're are being bastads about it, and to be honest I can't really blame clubs like Spurs for holding out after seeing Liverpool doing the same thing with Torres

Chelsea catastrophe: Petr Cech has been ruled out for 4 weeks after sustaining a knee injury in training. Cech will miss Premier League games against West Brom, Norwich, Sunderland and Man Utd.
