This would be the same Rio Ferdinand that infamously rounded up 100 girls for a 2007 Man Utd Christmas party for what purpose ? Not to play chess I can tell you that much. Staggering hypocrisy.

And wasn't this the same Rio Ferdinand who referred to gay's as Faggots on the Chris Moyles Show a couple of years back and was then subsequently forced to issue an apology? Ferdinand is a wannabe Gangsta rapper, a cross between Ali G and Snoop Dogg, and has no sense of his own idiocy, I'm afraid.

Don't forget, this was also the man who 'forgot' to take a random drugs test in 2004, was then banned from playing football for eight months but shamelessly continued to pick up his £80,000 per week wages throughout his ban. And when his contract was at that renegotiable stage he even more shamelessly fought for, and won a pay rise to over £100,000 per week! And here he is spouting morals....Huh

You've got this completely wrong, loulo12. At the time of writing only 1 person has been sacked and not 2 as you claim. Also, Gray wasn't sacked for the reason you state above, he was merely given a warning for that incident and taken off his job for one televised match. The reason given by Sky for his sacking was a separate incident which came to light, described by Sky as making a "lewd suggestion" to a colleague.

True! But in that case, if the previous incident with the female reporter was deemed so serious at the time, why wasn't he sacked then? Charlemagne and Bobek have got it spot on methinks; he threatened legal action against another tentacle of the leviathon that is the Rupert Murdoch media corporation, and all of a sudden this incident has become convenient grounds to get rid of him.

Rumor has it Andy Gray is being lined up to become the next manager of the national Scottish Ladies football team. Apparently Keys has resigned from Sky to become Grays assistantTongueTongue

Although this whole thing has been blown way out of proportion, Gray and his biatch Keys are about as arrogant as they come, and it's come back to bite them on the backside Big Grin

Andy Gray is a good analyst in fairness though, be interesting to see who they get to replace him

RE: Andy Gray Sexism - gazfc - 26-01-2011 22:07

I'd love James richardson to take over

Typical PC gone mad, the thought police won't allow anyone to have an opinion that they don't agree with, the papers are all too willing to jump on any faux-outrage badwagon going if they think it will help sell their rags and the apathetic masses blindly swallow the bullshit they are being spoonfed

Maybe it's time we made ofcom do something useful for a change and start sending in some sexism complaints against things like the Loose Women programme and the Sheila's Wheels adverts

Good call mate. James Richardson is easily the best football host on TV. Funny but knowledgeable.

pretty obvious ben shepherd is already on the payroll so he will take over from keys.

as for gray's replacement i just hope they dont go for 'jim beglin or mark lawrence'.

although it would be funny if they brought in a female

I wouldn't bother with the conspiracy theories. Gray wasn't popular at Sky Sports and he and Keys had apparently even clashed with the Director of Sky Sports more than once, so since they weren't liked they had to reservoir of goodwill to draw upon and were always going to be vulnerable if incidents like this occurred. Trying to work up a conspiracy theory is pretty pointless when Gray wasn't popular at Sky Sports anyway. Even Gray himself has rejected the conspiracy theory, saying that he thinks Sky got rid of him because they just want to bring in someone younger.
