First and foremost I only watch this show from a purely entertaining point of view and have no intentions of ever buying a record from any of the X-Factor finalists, I've had it with manufactured pop acts disgracing our once great music industry when once only real muscians would get air play. I pity the new and genuine bands out there as I've seen many a talented group of muscians as for example I went down to my local pub to see a fantastic rock and blues band, all original material and probably only earning about £20 each for their troubles and it makes by blood boil to see talentless wannabe's having it handed to them on a plate. As far as the show goes Kitty apart it is pretty much an overblown karake competition. Frankie has to be the worst excuse I've seen, he can't sing, looks like a prententious prick and is further evidence of all that is wrong with the music industry. Promote real musicians and real bands as the UK has historically always had a reputation of producing the finest acts to grace the music scene and that needs to return, take the X-Factor with a pinch of salt as it's nothing short of trivial and should be treated as such.

the viewing figures 2m down from last years and 200k from last. my friend played a couple of the songs that some of them sang and within 10secs of them opening them gobs my ears started to bleed. bands like kasbian, kiaser chiefs, acdc and proper singer/song writers etc wont get through to the live shows.

Last year's was the most watched series so far. I don't think it's so much the judge's fault just I wouldn't class it being the most 'highly talented' series ever, its a level playing field but I couldn't pick out three possible winners say and then four acts that will be going in the next four weeks.

Interesting to see how long Kitty stays around he seems an interesting character.

Talk from Sophie the other day was that she wasn't getting as much attention as the other girls, well I like her but looking at her wikipedia, all you see is not a middle length paragraph just her age, she is a barmaid in London.

Can't stand that Johhny person.

As far as tonight's performances goes, I would say that Kitty, Sophie's and Johnny's were the obvious standouts that really did it for me, with regards to the judges it's like watching an episode of jerry Springer at times with the amount of arguing that goes on week to week bladewave

The current series is pretty dire, the quality of singing and judging are both poorer than ever imo. Almost unbearably bad.

I've come to the conclusion that this is no longer a talent competition, I mean what a fucking insult to have Kitty in the bottom 2 when we have contestants such as Frankie who can't sing a fucking note in tune. It infutiates me when I see these kind of results week in week out which has been the case since the very birth of this show.

It hasn't been a singing contest for years, its a popularity contest

Without knowing a huge amount about the show the judges are...

Some kunt from N-crud (whoever they are)
Beyonce's shadow
Louise Walse - Responsible for Jedward
Gary Barlow - Should of stayed in the 90's

The only performer for me is Kittie, the rest as far as I'm concerned are a bag of shit.
